Good morning all. The foreman for BLK Quarry (area of 280 Hwy 25N) advised that they are going to conducting their largest blast to date today. He could not give me a definitive time - just that it was going to be somewhere around "lunch hour".

If you notice activity going on at the center of town (in front of the Guy Library), the City is working towards completing the Guy Community Center with some grant money it has received. We will be applying for more grant money as it becomes available.

The City of Guy will conduct a test of the tornado sirens today at noon.

The City of Guy is aware that the tornado siren located on Wolf Branch Road is not functioning properly.

We are currently working to resolve the issue.

At this time, the sirens located at Guy City Hall and Guy City Park are functioning correctly.
