This Pride Month, Warren Township Youth & Family Services recognizes the importance of LGBTQ+ mental health and the value of feeling seen, supported, and accepted. Everyone deserves a safe space to be themselves and access to mental health support. 💜🌈

Did you know that LGBTQ+ adults are more than twice as likely as heterosexual adults to experience a mental health condition and transgender individuals are nearly four times as likely as cisgender individuals to experience a mental health condition? LGBTQ+ youth are more than twice as likely to report experiencing persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness than their heterosexual peers. Transgender youth face further disparities as they are twice as likely to experience depressive symptoms, seriously consider su***de, and attempt su***de compared to cisgender LGBTQ+ youth. (NAMI)

✨🎬 Join us for a Movie in the Park - FREE Back to School Dragon Adventure! event hosted by Warren Township Youth & Family Services and Warren Township Teen Center. Let's celebrate the start of a new school year with a dragon adventure!

⏰6:00pm: The Frog Lady
⏰6:45pm: Dragon crafts - Decorate dragon eggs, make dragon masks, face painting, dragon tattoos
⏰8:00pm: Movie begins - "How to Train Your Dragon" 2025

🍧🍿 Food available for purchase from Kiki's Cotton Candy and Gagewood Lion's Club!

This event will move indoors at the Warren Township Senior Center in case of inclement weather. No registration required. Activities are free while supplies last.
