PLEASE SHARE — EXTREME COLD CONDITIONS
No one should be outside in this dangerous cold.
During this period of extreme temperatures, Avon Township is opening a warming shelter for anyone who needs a safe place to go. This shelter is a place where people can sleep, stay warm, and receive food. Extreme cold is life-threatening, and no one should be left without shelter. The shelter will be open from 5:00pm Thursday, January 22nd, through 8:00 am Monday, January 26th. We will continue to monitor the weather for the upcoming week.

At Avon Township, this is what we do — we help people in need.
But we cannot reach everyone alone. We would appreciate your help in sharing this information so it reaches the people who need it most.
