Please be advised that, based on information from a trusted resource, incidents of individuals requesting money for gas, food, or lodging have been observed within our local community.

If an individual approaches you requesting financial assistance for gas, food, or lodging, please do not provide money or accompany them to a bank, ATM, or other location to withdraw cash on their behalf.

Instead, direct them to follow you to the local police station, where trained officers can assist them with appropriate resources for their needs.

Please remain mindful and do not allow yourself to be persuaded into providing financial assistance
