The 3rd Annual Brett Redden Memorial Ride will take place on Sunday, June 7th at Mill Creek Trailhead. Take County Road 730 to County Road 727. This fundraiser supports the 4-H horse program.

Registration opens at 9:00am, and last riders go out at 11:00am. The first hand is $20, and additional hands are $10 each....or five hands for $50. Top hand wins two General Admission tickets to the Songwriter shuffle, a $700 value (donated by Gunnison Tough). Questions? Call Extension at 970-641-1260.

This event is operating under a Special Use Permit on the GMUG National Forest.

Wear purple on April 15th! April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to recognize that “Military Kids Serve Too”. They are resilient – but military kids make sacrifices and live under circumstances many of us cannot even comprehend. Join us in recognizing Colorado’s military kids and celebrate with us on April 15 for “Purple Up! for Military Kids Day” in Colorado – a day set aside for the entire state to show our support and appreciation for military kids by wearing purple and doing special things to recognize the youth. 💜

The clinic will be held from 10:00am to 1:00pm in the Esty Room ("rubber room") at the fairgrounds. This clinic is required for all youth enrolled in a rabbit project!
