🔥WILDFIRE ALERT🔥

Gunnison County Emergency Management and Gunnison Regional 911 Center are aware of a fire located a few miles from Hwy 92 off County Road 720. A smoke plume is visible from Hwy 50 between mile markers 126 and 130. Gunnison Volunteer Fire Department and the U.S. Forest Service are responding. The fire is estimated to be around a half-acre, burning in the sagebrush. Watch Duty is also reporting on this wildfire, named the Corral Gulch fire.

NO evacuations are being issued right now.

🚒Please be aware of emergency vehicles accessing the area and traveling on Hwy 50 and Hwy 92.

El Departamento de Gestión de Emergencias del condado de Gunnison y el Centro Regional 911 de Gunnison tienen constancia de un incendio situado a unos kilómetros de la autopista 92, junto a la carretera comarcal 720. Se observa una columna de humo desde la autopista 50, entre los puntos kilométricos 126 y 130. El Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios de Gunnison y el Servicio Forestal de EE. UU. están interviniendo. Se estima que el incendio abarca alrededor de media hectárea y arde entre la artemisa. Watch Duty también está informando sobre este incendio forestal, denominado «Corral Gulch».
