College Democrats & Independents of Mgccc Friends,
Welcome, and thanks for your interest in the College Democrats & Independents of MGCCC (CD&I), an officially recognized MGCCC student organization.

Although participation will not appear in ones academic transcripts, your participation in CD&I can certainly be placed on your resume and 4-year University applications. We are a student political organization, rather than an academic one, but we do collaborate with other student organizations, like Phi Theta Kappa and Student Government, for events . Additionally, we support our locally elected

Circuit Clerks in their offices efforts to register voters and provide a (paid) volunteer workforce for the poll booths in our county (Harrison Co., MS - Mrs. Gayle Parker (D)). Feel free to volunteer for a position and join the team in the trenches for the upcoming election year! There are no financial dues required of you, though we are not opposed to accepting donations! The only meetings we request mandatory attendance will be during the nomination and election process in Nov. and April. Naturally, we understand the importance of our academic commitments already made, and can accommodate when attendance may not be possible at those times. Again, welcome and thank you for your time and patience, as well as your courage and commitment to helping establish a better future for our children, all Americans, and humanity.
