Last week’s Hurricane Ice Cream Social gave Gulfport seniors the information, supplies and support needed to prepare for hurricane season.

The room was packed with local seniors ready to learn, connect and take practical steps toward staying safe during severe weather. Made possible through a grant from the Duke Energy Foundation, attendees received free emergency preparedness bags filled with potentially lifesaving supplies, followed by ice cream and time with neighbors🍦
