We also remember the families and loved ones whose lives were forever changed that day.

Biloxi & the MS Gulf Coast has lost a legend.

Coach Jackie Laird’s impact reached far beyond the basketball court. For 25 years, he coached, mentored and helped shape generations of young people in our community.

His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, both as a coach and as a father figure.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Nancy, the Laird family, his former players and all who knew and loved Coach Laird. 🙏

Rest well, Coach. We will remember you.

57 years later, we remember.

On August 17, 1969, Hurricane Camille forever changed the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Today, we honor the lives lost, the families forever impacted and the strength of a community that endured one of the most devastating storms in our history.

Riemann Family Funeral Homes was honored to support the Hurricane Camille Remembrance at Evergreen Cemetery and to join our community in keeping the memories of those lost close to our hearts.
