It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that Harrison County Beautification Commission announces the passing of one of our own, Commissioner ,Quentin Lyles.

Quentin has served as District One Beautification Commissioner for 10 years, dedicating his time and effort promoting a “Cleaner, Greener, Safer and more Livable Environment” for the district he represented and our county as a whole. Quentin served on HCBC’s “Education Committee” coordinating with schools and churches initiating the importance of educating our youth on recycling and litter prevention. He was an “Environmental Educator” focusing on school based recyling programs and an advisor to the County and City while collaborating with HCBC on new ideas and projects.

Harrison County Beautification Commission extends our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends as they navigate through this difficult time. Quentin was a valuable asset to our commission, and his absence will be deeply felt. Rest in peace, Commissioner Lyles .
