This is a good read.

Carrie Duncan’s visage has been covered in ghost-like white overlaid with the word “VOTE” in some Dan Cuevas for Harrison County Supervisor signs. His consultant said it make him look like a “single dad.” Here’s what happened.

From my experience of 28 years as Clerk of the Board for Harrison County Board of Supervisors Dan Cuevas is no doubt the best choice to represent District 1. Support Dan Cuevas as your next Supervisor!!

My dad and I were knocking on doors, meeting the great people of District 1 and placing yard signs this weekend. If you’d like a sign to show your support or help, go to www.electdancuevas.com.

Certified Mailings for 2019 Delinquent Taxes

Pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. 27-43-3, the Harrison County Chancery Clerk's office will send redemption notices for 2019 delinquent taxes via certified mail on March 28, 2022. All owners and interested parties still owing 2019 taxes will receive this notice.

Starting April 1, 2022 notices WILL BE served by your district constable at the mailing address of record, provided the address be within Harrison County Mississippi. Property with mailing addresses that are PO boxes or out-of-state address will not be served this notice, but should receive a notice via certified mail. Out of “county” addresses will be served a notice by the Sheriff of that county.

*** PLEASE BE ADVISED ***
• If you redeem your taxes BEFORE April 1, you will not be responsible for the service fees of constable or deputy, but will still receive a notice by constable or deputy.
• If you redeem your taxes AFTER April 1, you are still responsible for the fees for service by constable or deputy, and will be served the notice.
• The maturity date for 2019 taxes will be August 31, 2022 5:00pm. Unredeemed 2019 taxes will then transfer ownership to the authorized tax purchaser.

Tax sale for 2021 taxes will start August 29, 2022. To avoid your taxes being listed and sold at the tax sale, they must be paid no later August 26th, 2022 at 5:00pm.

The Harrison County Chancery Court docket of scheduled cases is now available to search online by name or date.

The docket will display party, case location by courtroom, date/time, and presiding judge. Harrison County cases scheduled in Hancock and Stone counties will display Hancock or Stone County instead of actual courtroom. These are Harrison County cases being heard in either Hancock or Stone County Chancery courtrooms, so if your case is being heard in either of those locations, you should report to the displayed location at the date and time of your hearing.

When searching by date, historical date searching is not allowed. You may only search current day/future dates.

When searching by name, you must enter "at least" the first 3 characters of the party name you are searching.

Everyone left when they knew it was in the bag (which was quite early) but got a selfie with the few stragglers left. Great victory with 70% of the votes. A big thanks to my amazing staff who worked so hard these last few months to get this result and thanks to Harrison County voters who believe in our POSITIVE message and voted to keep me and my staff in office to serve you the next four years.
