The week of September 14-18, GBMS will celebrate the KICK OFF of PBIS for the 2026-2027 school year. Each day will be a different dress up day that correlate with the positive behaviors we emphasize with our students. Please remember dress code still applies🙂 Make sure to dress up and support PBIS and GBMS!

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires that school districts provide parents with an annual state, district, and school status reports to include but not limited to the following: student achievement, accountability and subgroup data.

The FDOE uses data to produce readily accessible school and district report cards, providing transparent information to all stakeholders. The district report card specifically reports on progress toward transitioning students from one level (elementary, middle, high) to the next and reports graduation data.

Good evening Dolphins and I hope everyone enjoyed the three-day weekend. We will continue our PM1 testing tomorrow with 7th grade ELA. We will also start make-ups for any 6th graders who missed ELA or Math tomorrow. Have a great night.

Good morning,
Our Symphonic Band is joining the GBHS Soundwave at the football game tonight. Come on out and support all the programs at the game.

A few reminders from GBHS about the game and don't forget that all school rules are in effect.

Our home football game will be held at Dolphin Stadium Friday, 9/4 at 7:00pm vs. Freeport. We look forward to seeing you there! Go Dolphins!

Dolphin Stadium Policies
• All students under 9th grade must be accompanied by a ticketed adult and be under their supervision for the duration of the game.
• Unauthorized spectators are not allowed on the back practice field, baseball/softball fields, or on the track.
• All tickets must be purchased through the GoFan app. Children 4 and under are free.
• No backpacks (clear bag policy). All bags are subject to search.
• No sports balls or equipment allowed inside the stadium.
• No strollers or skateboards.
• No outside food or drink allowed.
• No pets/animals.
• No to***co or alcohol allowed on the premises.
• No weapons allowed on the premises.
• GBHS Administration reserves the right to remove any spectator from the premises.
• Please utilize our school parking lot and refrain from parking in private lots, including the Publix parking lot.

To Parents: If you forgot to order school pictures, you can still order online UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, or you can drop your completed order form off at the school office by the end of today. After tonight, online ordering will close. Orders can still be placed by sending your envelope with cash or check to the school, or you will need to bring your order to the Hartmans in person if paying CC.

📸 School Picture Day is TOMORROW, Wednesday, September 2!
Students can order school pictures online through midnight Wednesday night.
If you order online, you do not need to send the paper order form or payment to school.
After the online link closes at midnight tomorrow, orders will need to be paid by cash or check, or in person to our studio..

Good evening Dolphins and I hope everyone had a great weekend. We have some important activities this week. On Wed, we have our School Advisory Council Meeting in the library at 7:00. PTO also meets on Wed at 8:15. School Pictures will be on Wednesday as well. Packets were sent home last week with all students and should be brought back on Wed if pictures would like to be purchased. If you need a packet, please call the school. All students will get their pictures taken for the yearbook. On Thursday, we start our PM1 testing for 6th graders with ELA. 6th graders will take Math on Friday. We will enjoy a three-day weekend as we celebrate Labor Day Weekend and 7th grade will begin PM1 with ELA on Tuesday, Sep 8. Have a great night.
