🚧 GUILFORD PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE 🚧

POTHOLE REPAIRS UNDERWAY

Guilford Public Works is aware of the large number of potholes that have developed throughout town due to this winter’s freeze and thaw cycles.

Our crews are actively working across Guilford to repair them as quickly as possible.

πŸ”§ Current Repairs – Cold Patch
At this time we are using cold patch asphalt to fill potholes. Cold patch is a temporary repair that helps improve road conditions and keep roads safe until asphalt plants reopen.

♨️ Permanent Repairs – Hot Asphalt
Once hot mix asphalt becomes available, our crews will return to many locations to complete permanent repairs using hot patch, which provides a stronger and longer-lasting fix.

πŸ™ Thank You for Your Patience
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we work through this seasonal road maintenance challenge.

πŸ“ Report Potholes
If you notice a pothole that needs attention, please report it to the Guilford Public Works Department. (203)453-8081
