Grundy County, Iowa Sheriff's Office The official page of the Grundy County, IA Sheriff's Office The Sheriff is the county’s principal peace officer who is elected every four years.

Sheriff Kirk Dolleslager was elected by the people of Grundy County and began his term on January 1, 2021. The Sheriff & Deputies are the Law Enforcement Agency for the residents of the unincorporated areas (rural) of the county, and provide contracted law enforcement for the cities of Beaman, Conrad, D**e, Holland, Morrison, Stout, Reinbeck, and Wellsburg. The Sheriff’s Office handles all routine and emergency calls for these areas, and regularly patrols all areas of the county. The Sheriff’s Office issues permits to purchase/carry fi****ms and houses the 14 bed Grundy County Jail.

Media Release for week of September 2, 2026 – September 8, 2026

On September 2, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies cited and released Randall Verbeski, 64, of Des Moines, IA. Verbeski was charged with Driving While License Suspended.

On September 2, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Travis DeGroote, 39, of Ackley, IA. DeGroote was charged with Driving While Barred.

On September 2, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Adam Simons, 33, of Iowa Falls, IA on an active arrest warrant out of Hardin County. Simons was transported to the Hardin County Jail.

On September 3, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies cited and released Patice Bolden, 44, of Sioux City, IA. Bolden was charged with Driving While License Suspended.

On September 5, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ryan Stuber, 46, of Waterloo, IA. Stuber was arrested on an active warrant and is charged with a Violation of Probation.

On September 6, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Heath Brown, 40, of Traer, IA. Brown was charged Operating While Under the Influence, First Offense.

On September 7, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ashely Clement, 39, of Grundy Center, IA. Clement was charged with Contempt – Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order.

On September 8, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested James Harberts, 46, of Reinbeck, IA. Harberts was charged with Contempt – Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order.

On August 21, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies served Aidan Walters, 24, of Reinbeck, IA on an active warrant. Walters was charged with Operating While Under the Influence, Third Offense.

On August 22, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies cited and released Osheanna Simpson, 32, of Waterloo, IA. Simpson was charged with Driving While License Suspended.

On August 23, 2026, Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Deva Schisel Jr, 51, of Reinbeck, IA. Schisel was charged Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, First Offense and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.
