This time last year our town, our friends, and our neighbors was in a battle to survive. Many of us worked insane hours and slept very little for many days. We were and continue to be amazed at the outpouring of love that was shown to our town. It was and is a blessing that we all came together to overcome the monster we were battling. We had several that were unable to do the physical work but many of those prayed, cooked, and donated and was a huge part of our team. There were people from miles away that reached out to help. We were and continue to feel blessed by the kindness shown to us.
During my term we have accomplished so much together. We have survived 2 floods, worked to fix the IRS issues, worked to be in compliance with the USDA and several other agencies, awarded grants, and the list goes on.
I know we all have busy lives but I want you to know that each of you has made a difference and you are truly appreciated! Our town has overcome so much and together we will continue to improve and make it a better place. Thank you so much!!!
