Good morning PWSD customers. We are aware people are now getting their last months bill and now their new bill. It is crazy this has happened. But, please pay attention to the dates. We have had several people drop their bill off and it is not the correct amount.
Also starting Monday, April 13th the water office will only be open on Mondays, Wednesday’s and Fridays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm going further. This does not mean the field staff will not be out working. If you should have an emergency on the off days, please call the office for the emergency numbers provided.

Today is the 11th and we realize some of you have not gotten your bill. As we have several times mentioned, if you have not received your bill by no later than the 8th, call the office. All we know is that we mailed them off. Late fees will be applied by the 18th instead of the 15th. Disconnection will still be the 20th!

At the District’s meeting it was decided to raise the water rates slowly again as in the past, due to the rising cost of maintenance and parts. The water rates were $19.30 for the first 2000 gallons and now will be $21.25 for the first 2000 gallons. If you have any questions, please call your district board member or the office at 417-462-9510.
This will be reflected on your March billing.

Again, we have been reminded that people still aren’t getting their water bills. Please know as we have stated this before, if you have not gotten your water bill by no later than the eighth, please get a hold of us. For those that have already contacted us. Thank you for letting us know because we will have assumed you have gotten it .

On January 8th, the board of directors meeting took place, where a director was made aware of a comment from another area customer pertaining to shared meter usage among households. Please find an attached letter detailing this matter.

Please remember that for the next four months your sewer bill will be higher because it’s going off your water usage. For the past eight months during the spring and summer, the sewer is average out and locked in due to people watering their gardens, filling up their pools and washing their cars. We know this is not going into the sewer system. If you should have any questions at all, please feel free to call the office at 417–462–9510 during the office hours from 9 am to 3pm.

Currently, there are a few water bill and sewer bills that have yet to be paid. Please get your payment in by the end of today this is the 21st and all bills were due yesterday. Shut offs absolutely will be done Monday if payments aren’t received by then.
