📚The "UNEARTH A STORY" summer reading program kicks off for all ages on Monday, June 1ST. The program spans the summer and concludes on August 1ST. Read books, Keep reading logs, Win prizes. Grover Hill Branch Library will have fun activities all week, all month, and all summer long for the whole community!!
🦖Munchkin club story times dates will be Fridays June 12th, and 26th. These playful times are designed for ages 6 and under. They include a themed read aloud story, activity and treat. A guest reader, Tales By Tonalee will be sharing their story 'More Than a Mushroom Hunt' on June 26th.
🍔Senior Bingo always on the second Thursday of the month will be an America's 250th Birthday celebration for patrons aged 50+ years. Guests are encouraged to wear patriotic garb for a community burger cookout. Please call to confirm reservations and cancellations for Thursday, June 11th @ 1PM.
1️⃣9️⃣ The Paulding County library system will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
❤️GHBL Book Club meets the last Wednesday of the month at 4PM. Discussion of the novel 'Remember Us' by Jacqueline Woodson will be on June 24th. Multiple copies and formats of this American historical novel will be available for checkout all month. As will copies of Theo of Golden and The Lemonade Wars for the summer long Paulding County Community book club.
🍨 Friends of Grover Hill Branch Library will be hosting an ice cream fundraiser at the Grover Hill Lions Club on Saturday June 27th from 4-7PM.
🛍Help your community out by donating to the Caring and Sharing Food Pantry. Drop off your non-perishable items to your favorite local library branch. The Branch with the most donations in the month of June will be the Paulding County winner, but overall the whole county wins through your generosity!🏆
🎁Tuesday June 30th, the winner of the monthly drawing be declared.
