Back in November, our 3rd graders took a field trip to City Hall. The students participated in a Mock Council meeting, with our own 3rd graders standing in as the mayor and council members. The topic proposed by the Recreation department was the theme of the Mother Son Dance in May. Our council voted, 3-2 for the Ocean Adventure Theme. The new Activity Guide came out and our ad is in there! The students are very excited that they made an actual decision for our city. Way to go!
