🎃🐶More spooky season fun! Around The Horn invites you and your four-legged friends to our second annual HOWL-O-WEEN party, featuring a doggie costume contest and meet-and-greet with local dog-focused organizations!🐶🎃

Join us on Sunday October 26 from 11 am to 2 pm in The Corral beer garden for a pawsitively spooktacular time. Whether your pup is spooky, silly, or just downright adorable, all are welcome to join in the fun. In addition to the dog costume contest, you'll have the opportunity to meet representatives from Northside Pet Connection, Yosemite Tails and Trails, and California Houndsmen for Conservation.

⚠️ Government Shutdown Update - Oct. 1, 2025 at 9:20am

Yosemite National Park is OPEN during the government shutdown!

However, park staff will be limited, so services like visitor centers, ranger stations, restrooms, and trash collection may not be available. Essential staff, including law enforcement officers and first responders, are still working in the park.

Within Yosemite National Park, the park’s concessionaire, Yosemite Hospitality, continues to operate in-park lodging, shuttles, dining, shops, and booked activities.

The Pinecrest Lake area on the Stanislaus National Forest is OPEN, and we'll provide more information about other sites and services on the Forest when it becomes available.

Details on how the government shutdown will impact our public lands are still developing, and we'll share updates when they're available.
