The Neighborhood Center of South Lake We are group of individuals bound together by a commitment to assist our neighbors who are in need. The Center has been in continuous operation since 1972.

The Neighborhood Center of South Lake is more than a food pantry;
we are one of the few designated Healthy Food Pantries; we are a Family Stability Center;
we work holistically with clients and partners to help families change their future. The Center is supported by the generosity of individuals, churches, local organizations, businesses and associations. We provide support to families and ind

ividuals in need across South Lake County - Mascotte, Groveland, Clermont, Minneola, Montverde and points in between. We are blessed to receive support from both
The Community Foundation of South Lake https://cfslc.org/ and
United Way of Lake and Sumter http://www.uwls.org/
Without this support our ability to provide for our neighbors in need would be greatly limited.

Friendly Reminder: Holiday Closures

The Neighborhood Center Of South Lake will be closed on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th for the holiday. Normal client service hours will resume Tuesday, July 7th. Please prepare accordingly.

We will be open normal client service hours June 30th through July 2nd. Come get your groceries before the holiday!

Holiday Closures

The Neighborhood Center Of South Lake will be closed on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th in observation of America’s 250th birthday. Normal client service hours will resume Tuesday, July 7th. Please prepare accordingly.

We will be open normal client service hours June 30th through July 2nd. Come and see us!

Our country and its values have been protected and fought for by the son's and daughters of for more than 250 years.

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country, as well as their families who have sacrificed alongside them.

We are deeply grateful for your service, courage, and commitment of every soldier and their loved ones.

The Neighborhood Center of South Lake will be closed for the holiday as we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country, as well as their families who have sacrificed alongside them.

We are deeply grateful for your service, courage, and commitment.

Summer School Break Food Distribution Begins Tuesday, May 26!

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, The Neighborhood Center of South Lake will begin its summer School Break Food program to qualified clients with school-aged children.
School Break Food will be available through all 10 weeks of summer break to help ensure children have nutritious meals while school is out.
