What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the school year! ๐ŸŒŸ We truly had a fantastic time at Darbydale Elementaryโ€™s Field Day today! The kids were full of excitement when the firefighters arrived. ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ˜‚ The firefighters seemed to enjoy it just as much as the kids (maybe even more!). A heartfelt thank you to the Darbydale Elementary School staff, teachers, and our local firefighters for creating these unforgettable memories as the school year wraps up. These are the moments that will keep us smiling all summer long! โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Pleasant Township Fire Department Remembers on this Memorial Day Weekend ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

This weekend, we joined our community and fellow first responders at the cemetery to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We stood together in quiet respect, remembering their courage and sacrifice that secured the freedoms we enjoy today. Their service and dedication will never be forgotten.

To all the fallen heroes, thank you. We owe you a debt that can never be repaid.

At Pleasant Township Fire Department, we are proud to serve the community you helped protect. This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor your legacy.

May we never forget.
God Bless our Fallen Heroes.

As we kick off EMS Week 2026, the Pleasant Township Fire Department would like to recognize two of our own for their outstanding service and dedication to the community.

Recently, Firefighters Jones and Coleman were honored by Mount Carmel for their actions during a motor vehicle accident response on Interstate 71. While assisting at the scene, they encountered a patient who initially refused medical treatment. Through their compassion, professionalism, and persistence, they convinced the individual to seek further evaluation at the hospital, where it was discovered, the patient was suffering a major heart attack. Their actions helped save a life.

This recognition is a perfect reminder of what EMS Week is all about: compassionate care, quick thinking, and making a difference when seconds matter most.

Please join us in congratulating FF Jones and FF Coleman on this well-deserved recognition and thanking all of our EMS providers for the work they do every day to serve and protect our community. ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿš’โค๏ธ

Today, we mourn Pastor Baker, a beloved chaplain and compassionate friend to our fire department. With kindness and unwavering service, he stood with us in tough times, offering prayers, comfort, and quiet strength. More than our pastor, he was part of our community.

He showed his faith by actions: comforting mourners, uplifting the weary, and reminding first responders they are not alone. His presence brought peace and hope.

Pastor Baker, we are grateful for your dedication, wisdom, and love. You touched many lives, leaving a legacy of faith, courage, and brotherhood to guide us.

Rest peacefully, dear Pastor. You will be missed but forever remembered.

Our heartfelt prayers go to his family, friends, and all touched by his kindness and faith.
