This morning at Station 231, Pleasant Township firefighters paused to remember. They marked 8:46 a.m. together, 25 years after the first plane hit the North Tower, and honored the 343 firefighters, 441 first responders, and all who were lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville.
Our crew talked about where they were that day, and why it still shapes how they serve this community. A piece of World Trade Center steel stays at our station so we do not forget.
If you missed 8:46 this morning, take a quiet moment now.
Never forget.

🚨 Hey Everyone!
Our Chief is happily working in his Paper Hat Uniform at the Fish Fry, making sure every fish is perfect. He keeps looking at the door, waiting for more guests. The fish is crispy, sides are great, and the vibe is good. Come tonight or tomorrow with your family and appetite to support Prairie Township Firefighters Association. Don’t let him eat all the leftovers alone.. 🐟😏

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the school year! 🌟 We truly had a fantastic time at Darbydale Elementary’s Field Day today! The kids were full of excitement when the firefighters arrived. 💦😂 The firefighters seemed to enjoy it just as much as the kids (maybe even more!). A heartfelt thank you to the Darbydale Elementary School staff, teachers, and our local firefighters for creating these unforgettable memories as the school year wraps up. These are the moments that will keep us smiling all summer long! ❤️
