• Avery Hill
• Aljen Heights
• Route 117 to Ledyard Center
• Colonel Ledyard Highway
• Gallup Hill

Correction: Our new business hours include the office being open 8am - noon on Friday, with phone support being available on Saturday 8am - noon. The previous post combined the Friday/Saturday hours.

Groton Utilities is happy to announce that we are going to a new, enhanced set of office hours to help better serve our customers. Beginning next week the City of Groton Municipal Building will be open on Mondays until 6:00pm for those looking to pay bills or attend to other business in person. Additionally, the building will be open on Fridays, with new hours being 8am to noon. We hope this helps those who need/prefer to tend to their GU business in person.

Flushing Schedule Update: We have been working a bit ahead of schedule so far so the schedule has been moved up for a few areas. Below is the schedule for this week:

RT184 near Walmart
Winding Hollow
Northern and mid section of the city

Groton Utilities began its water main flushing and testing program on April 27th. Below is the schedule for the week of May 18th.

Groton Utilities has earned the American Public Power Association’s Safety Award of Excellence for safe operating practices in 2025.
