Groton Democratic Town Committee We work to advance the ideals and values of the Democratic Party and elect Democratic candidates. We focus on our similarities rather than our differences.

The Groton Democratic Town Committee is an inclusionary group of active citizens who find common ground in our shared humanity. We draw our strength from our diversity, believing that the greatest wisdom in a community lies in the collective voice of its citizens. We approach local issues by searching for solutions that are tailored to Groton’s specific needs while at the same time, adding our voice to the Democratic Party at the regional, state, and national levels. We believe that a community/society can be judged by its treatment of its young, its old, its poor and those in greatest need.

The National Drug Take Back Day is returning to Groton on Saturday, October 24th from 10AM - 2PM. Dispose of any unused or expired prescription medicine at the Groton Police Department.

Take-Back day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.

No sharps are allowed during the take back. To dispose of sharps, please contact the Nashoba Board of Health.

Can't make it on Saturday, we also have drop off boxes in the Police Department Lobby and the Groton Center Lobby that are available to use throughout the year. We ask that folks don't bring multivitimans to our lobby med boxes, these are for prescription medications only. No sharps in these medication bins either.
