Pursuant to Article VI, Section 3(a) of the City of Groton Charter, all electors and citizens qualified to vote in the City of Groton Annual Budget Meeting are hereby notified and warned to assemble at the Annual Budget Meeting, City Municipal Building Council Chambers, 295 Meridian Street, Groton, on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of acting on the proposed budget. Yesterday, I signed Connecticut’s 2027 state budget into law that makes historic investments to help lower property taxes, expand early childhood education, and keep our state fiscally strong.

Before I came into office, Connecticut faced constant deficits and instability. Today, we’re delivering balanced budgets, investing in our future, and continuing to move Connecticut forward.
