GROTON, Conn. - Naval Submarine Base New London (SUBASE) will be OPEN and return to Normal Operations, Wednesday, 28 January.

Personnel are encouraged to use caution driving around, parking, and walking the base. The snow, ice, and below freezing temperatures may make some areas slippery.

Building teams are reminded to continue to ensure snow and ice clearing snow within 50 feet of their building; any additional clearing to increase safe footing and ease of access is encouraged.

Personnel with questions or concerns should contact their chain of command.

SUBASE cannot stress strongly enough that personnel should contact their commands/supervisors if they believe the road/weather conditions are unsafe for travel to the base.
