Held annually at the historic Naval Air Station on Grosse Ile, Michigan, the Grosse Ile Veterans Gala is a special day honoring all Americans who are serving or have served in the military to defend this great nation. Hosted by VFW Post 7310 and the NAS-GI Veterans Organization, the proceeds from the Grosse Ile Veterans Gala support their efforts throughout the year.

What an incredible opportunity! I am so happy to see this come to fruition. Decades ago, I suggested we work with local schools to introduce young people to Flying. There is a huge commercial pilot shortage, so it is necessary to intrigue the minds of our youth. This is a beautiful thing!
