🎓✨ Celebrating Excellence at Griffin High School! ✨🎓

We proudly celebrated the incredible achievements of the Griffin High School Class of 2026 during our Senior Honors Night ceremony. It was an evening filled with recognition, pride, and excitement as our senior scholars were honored for their academic excellence, scholarships, leadership, service, and outstanding accomplishments throughout their high school journey.

We are immensely proud of each and every scholar who was recognized. Your hard work, dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence have truly paid off, and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in the future. 💚💛

A special thank you to 16 Kandles "Timeless Events&Decor" for providing the beautiful decorations that helped make the evening so memorable and elegant. Your attention to detail created the perfect atmosphere to celebrate our deserving seniors.

Dear Griffin High School Families and Staff,

The start time for tonight's graduation ceremony has been moved up to 6 p.m. in an effort to avoid inclement weather. Gates will still open at 5 p.m. All other details for graduation will remain unchanged. Visit (https://www.gscs.org/page/graduation-class-of-2026) the destination graduation page for the top 10 things you need to know for graduation, parking map and the live stream link. Raincoats and ponchos are encouraged but umbrellas are not permitted in the stadium. All students will be provided a poncho. We have been in constant contact with our meteorology team and they have advised that the chance of inclement weather increases later in the evening. If lightning is detected near our area, the stadium will be evacuated and the ceremony will be delayed until weather permits. Any additional updates will be provided on the GSCS and GHS website, social media, GSCS app, email, phone call and text.

Need to recover credits, get back on track for graduation, and level up academically this summer? Griffin High School Summer School is here to help scholars succeed and prepare for a stronger school year ahead!

Summer dates are as follows:
🟢 Grades 9–11: June 1st – June 25th
🟡 Seniors: June 1st – July 16th

⏰ Summer School Hours:
Monday – Thursday
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

📍 Scholars are expected to arrive on time each day and remain focused and engaged throughout the program.

✅ Summer school provides scholars with the opportunity to:
• Recover missed credits
• Get back on track for graduation
• Improve academic performance

🎓🌦️ Graduation Weather Update for Griffin High School Families 🌦️🎓

Hello Griffin High School Families,

We are working closely with our meteorology partners to monitor the weather forecast for Graduation this Friday at 7:00 PM. At this time, there is a 30% chance of scattered showers after 3:00 p.m. Friday.

Graduation will be held outside on the field at Memorial Stadium. Please note that lightning or unsafe inclement weather could delay the ceremony until conditions improve. If the forecast warrants, families are encouraged to bring ponchos or raincoats (no umbrellas permitted).

GHS Teacher Appreciation Week Recap Spring Training Edition 💚💛

Griffin High School proudly celebrated an amazing week of honoring our dedicated teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week: Spring Training Edition! Throughout the week, our staff enjoyed themed dress-up days, fun activities, and delicious meals as we recognized the heart of GHS, our teachers!

🏆 Monday – “Start Strong, Finish Strong”
Teachers kicked off the week dressed in athletic gear, team apparel, and comfy “ready to train” outfits. Staff enjoyed a delicious Power-Up Salad Bar while participating in fun kickoff activities.

⚡ Tuesday – “Power-Up, Fuel Up”
Teachers showed their team spirit during Jersey Day by representing their favorite teams and sports. Staff enjoyed a Breakfast Boost Bar filled with breakfast favorites while participating in mini challenges and hydration/snack stations.

👑 Wednesday – “Team MVP”
Departments competed in a fun-filled Department Colors Day and enjoyed friendly competition during the Department Wars games in the Teacher’s Lounge. Teachers were treated to concession-style favorites throughout the day.

👟 Thursday – “Aim High Midweek Boost”
Staff members came dressed in workout gear as we encouraged everyone to keep pushing toward the finish line. Teachers enjoyed a catered fettuccini lunch and motivational wellness activities to help recharge for the remainder of the week.

🏅 Friday – “Training Camp Championship Finish”
The week concluded with a spirited GHS Spirit Day as teachers wore green and gold to celebrate Griffin High School pride. Staff enjoyed a championship meal and special celebrations recognizing the incredible work and dedication of our teachers all year long.
