Pursuant to La. R.S. §42:19, the Timberlane Neighborhood Improvement and Beautification District will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6:30 pm in-person at 1 Timberlane Drive.

Timberlane Neighborhood Improvement and Beautification District (TNIBD) will hold a
public hearing for the proposed TNIBD FYE 2027 Budget on April 23, 2026, at 6:30 PM
at Café Hope, 700 Lapalco Boulevard, Gretna, Louisiana 70056.

The FYE 2025 Proposed Budget is available for public inspection from April 10, 2026, at the Office of the Parish Clerk, Sixth Floor, General Government Building, 200 Derbigny Street, Gretna, LA 70053. A copy is also posted at www.tnibd.org, in the Resources Section.

The TNIBD Board of Commissioners will consider adoption of the FYE 2027 Budget at the conclusion of the public hearing.

Call for Volunteers for TNIBD Board of Commissioners

The TNIBD Board of Commissioners is looking for volunteers to serve out the terms of two Commissioners who have resigned. Successful candidates will serve the remainder of that Commissioner’s term, then may stand for re-election. That elected term would be a three-year term.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must meet all the following necessary qualifications:
1. You must own property within TNIBD; and
2. All your property taxes must be current on any property owned within the TNIBD.

Please be aware that if appointed to the TNIBD Board, you will be required annually to complete a one-hour governmental ethics course and one hour of training in avoidance of sexual harassment (both online). You must complete one hour of online cybersecurity training. So far, the cybersecurity training is required only once.

You also must file a Tier 2.1 Personal Financial Disclosure Form with the Louisiana Ethics Board annually. (Additional information regarding these requirements is available at http://ethics.la.gov.)
Candidate Qualifying:

Each candidate who wishes to be considered for appointment must submit a Volunteer Qualifying Form.
You may request a copy of the form from [email protected]
You may download a copy of the form at the TNIBD website, www.tnibd.org
The form can be found in the Governance section of the Resources tab.

Please respond by 5 PM on November 14, 2025. The Volunteer Qualifying Form must be received by that date and time. This allows the Board time to review the candidates before the November meeting of the Board of Commissioners. We hope to name appointments at that meeting.
