We're so excited to announce the winner of our Design-Your-Own Reading Creature contest! Designer Beau created a griffin named Connect 4 that will be featured as our first Reading Dragon & Friends creature of 2027. Congratulations to Beau, and thank you to all the designers who submitted an idea; we were delighted by every one that came in. Stay tuned to see the final version of Beau's griffin later in the fall. If you have a child in grades K-8 who'd like to collect our creatures, stop by either library to get them started, no library card required.
