I asked one of my parents to write a letter to help secure grant funding.

This is worth reading! Thank you, ma’am. You really touched my heart with your sentiments.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing as a parent to share my experience with the reading sessions my child has been attending. From the very beginning, he has genuinely enjoyed coming to these sessions. What started as something new and unfamiliar has quickly become something he looks forward to each time. Seeing that excitement as a parent means a great deal to me.
Since working with you, I have seen real growth in ——.

His confidence with reading has improved, and he is more willing to engage with books and talk about what he is learning. One of the things that has stood out the most is how much he has loved reading the novel you chose for the sessions. He talks about the characters and the story when he comes home, which shows me that he is not only reading but truly connecting with the material.

I also want to recognize the patience you have shown while working with ——. Every child learns differently, and your willingness to take the time to meet him where he is has made a difference. ——-feels comfortable during the sessions, and that kind of supportive learning environment is something every child deserves.
