District 6 Councilman Robbie Templeton is back with a special Friday Update. This week, he is joined by Hodges-Cokesbury Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jim Baber and his wife, Tami, as they reflect on the events of September 11, 2001.
Tomorrow, the Hodges-Cokesbury Volunteer Fire Department invites the community to Lights on Main, a day of remembrance honoring the lives lost on September 11 and those who answered the call to serve in the days that followed.
Main Street in Hodges will be filled with activities throughout the day, including crafts, food, live music, and more.

Hodges Park (4806 Main St.)
📍 Walk to Remember at 10:00 a.m.
Meet at the gazebo (4513 Main St) at 9:30 a.m.
📍 Wreath Laying Ceremony at 10:30 a.m.
📍 Town Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Greenwood Museum will present information about the World Trade Center attacks, along with historical information about America’s 250th anniversary through SC 250.
Live music will continue throughout the day, followed by a Musical Light Show Tribute at 9:11 p.m.
Take some time today and tomorrow to remember, reflect, and honor the lives forever changed by September 11.
