I trust what the Lord says. I wait for his help when I am in trouble. God created me and loves me. My worth is not tied to my accomplishments. We are sons and daughters of Christ. He loves us as his children. So don’t become like everyone else in the world. Let God change you from the inside out. He will do this by changing the way we think. He wants us to understand what he wants for us. Good things happen to those who listen to God, trust him and learn from their experiences. Learn to be reflective, think about what is happening to you and around you. I say this because God has good plans for us and for our future. Nothing can separate us from God’s love. He brings us complete victory over all that comes against us. He loves us with a love that will last forever. Know that love. Trust that love. God is love.

A heartfelt thank you to Kroger, Greenwood Police Department Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana Inc. for organizing Pack the Cruiser! Held each year as students prepare to leave school for summer break, this community food drive helps collect much-needed nonperishable food items and donations to support local food pantries during a season when many families lose access to school meals.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to stop by and give today. Every donation helps provide meals and support to families and individuals in our community who are facing food insecurity. Thank you for helping "pack the cruiser" and make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. Together, we are fighting hunger and sharing hope! 💙🥫🚓

Allow God’s dreams to become your dreams. ✨

Sometimes God’s plans for your life take you in a direction you never expected. When life doesn’t unfold the way you imagined, choose to trust Him instead of resisting the change.

Don’t fight the path God is leading you down. Be willing to surrender your plans and allow His purpose to become your purpose. His way is always greater, even when you don’t yet understand it.

The safest, most peaceful place you can be is in the center of God’s will.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday May 25, the Refuge will be closed to allow our staff and volunteers to enjoy well deserved time with family and friends. We will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday May 26.
