🎨 There's still time to sign up for Teen Crafternoon: Mosaics!

Teens ages 13–18 are invited to join us on Monday, June 22, from 4:00–5:00 PM to create colorful mosaic artwork using bright mosaic pieces and a wooden base. No experience is needed—we'll provide all the supplies!

Spots are limited, so be sure to register soon and come make something uniquely yours.

🎨📸 The Craft Crew: Keepsake Photo Coaster

Calling all tweens and teens ages 10–18! Join us on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 4:00–5:00 PM in the Teen Center to create a custom keepsake photo coaster you'll actually use.

Design your own coaster using a ceramic tile and Mod Podge to seal and protect your favorite memories. Bring photos from home or use the Teen Center’s photo printer to print pictures directly from your phone. (Please note that photo printing is limited per participant.)

This simple and creative project is perfect for decorating your room or making a personalized gift. All supplies are provided!

Get ready for a prehistoric adventure packed with laughter, excitement, and an important lesson!

Join us at the Ware Shoals Library on Thursday, June 18, from 10:30–11:30 AM for Dinosaur, Dinosaur, Wolf! presented by Porkchop Productions.

This wildly modern twist on the classic tale The Boy Who Cried Wolf follows Jamie, a fun-loving prankster who discovers that claiming dinosaurs are rampaging through town is a great way to get attention... until it isn't! With colorful characters, big laughs, and plenty of dinosaur-sized fun, this entertaining performance reminds us that honesty is always the best policy.

Get ready for a morning of surprises, laughter, and mind-blowing discoveries when Roper Mountain Science Center brings their exciting Magic Science program to the library as part of our Summer Reading celebration!

These incredible demonstrations may look like magic tricks, but scientists love sharing their secrets. With help from volunteers and careful observations from the audience, we'll uncover what's really happening and learn the fascinating science behind every trick.
