🚧 Road Closure Notice 🚧

Please be advised that a section of East Creswell Avenue will be closed on Monday, April 13, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM for necessary sewer system repairs.

The closure will be in effect between Phoenix Street and Brannon Street. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time while work is underway.

A map of the affected area is included below for your reference.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important improvements to the sewer system.

Road Closing Notice!

Beginning Monday September 27th and lasting through Friday, October 1st, sections of Circular Ave and Oakhaven Ct will be closed for sewer system repairs. Oakhaven Ct will remain accessible from Marion Ave via the Episcopal Church parking lot. Sumpter Ct can be accessed via Circular Ave from Edgefield Street.

A portion of Wells Ave. off of South Main St. will be used for One-way traffic.

Prefer qualified applicant possess a high school diploma or equivalent with practical and progressive training and experience in sewer maintenance or closely related area. Under general supervision, performs various tasks associated
with the installation, maintenance and/or repair of collection system components, roadways and sidewalk, etc. Performs related work as required.

Greenwood Metropolitan District (GMD) is seeking bids from Lawn Care Maintenance professionals for the project as outlined at the link below.

GMD FACILITIES LAWN CARE: Project consists of maintaining the lawn at various locations including: the GMD Main Office, Wilson Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant
(WWTP), Wilson Creek Farm, West Alexander WWTP, and 30 pump stations.

Note that bidder may choose to bid either the CPW Facilities Lawn Care project, the CPW Right-of-Way Maintenance project, the GMD Facilities Lawn Care, All projects, or any combination thereof.
