Loss of a Child to Suicide; A Parent's Group

Loss of a Child to Suicide; A Parent's Group The death of a child is devastating enough, but how do parents and loved ones cope when a child dies by su***de?

If you have lost a child to su***de, we are a support group that meets monthly in the Denver Metro area to give you a safe place to grieve with others that know your pain. Most of the experts agree that the best thing to do following the loss of a child, especially to su***de, is to find a support group that understands and can help the bereaved parents cope with the feelings that they may have an

d yet not understand very well. This group is specifically dedicated to those parents that have lost a child to su***de. It doesn't matter how long ago, or how old they were. We know from our own experiences that it is always there; we are forever changed with this loss. We also realize that those who have not experienced this loss cannot understand the depths of our grief. On one hand, this is a good thing, as we would not wish this pain on anyone. But it leaves us lonely and struggling for a connection. We meet on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the Centennial/Greenwood Village area.
