The Butler County Soil & Water Conservation District donated Incubators to Butler County Pre-K classrooms. We have enjoyed watching the students place their eggs in the incubator, watching them grow and hatch. It was so cool to see a chick hatch while I was visiting the Bright Beginnings McKenzie classroom. We would like to thank W.O Parmer Bright Beginnings, McKenzie Bright Beginnings and Fort Dale for allowing us to dontate the incubators and participating in this project. 🐣πŸ₯

It is National Soil Health Day, and we are digging into the undie-cover work of soil microbes! That’s right it is time to Soil Your Un**es. We know... we just had to go and make learning about soil weird, but we promise it is fun. Here is what you do...

πŸͺ¦ Bury a pair of white 100% cotton underwear. (Be sure to mark where you buried them)

πŸ•΅οΈ Wait 60 days then dig them up. What do you see?

🦠 If they are mostly gone congrats! You have biologically active soil full of life.

⚠️ Still intact? Your soil may need some TLC. But we can help with that.

🀳 Send us your results!
