Kevin was diagnosed with Stage IV prostate cancer in 2018. The diagnosis came with the kind of weight that can instantly divide life into a before and an after. Suddenly, the normal rhythm of everyday life was replaced by staging, treatment decisions and uncertainty.

Today, Kevin is in remission. And when he talks to other men about prostate cancer, his message is direct: “Don’t be like me.”

Anna was feeling well and exercising regularly in preparation for a family trip to France. When she noticed something unusual in her abdomen, she assumed it was simply a muscle.

Four days before the trip, she had an unmistakable feeling that she needed to go to urgent care. “I listened,” she says.
