A Beautiful Chapel Ceremony in Piedmont, SC

There is something timeless about getting married in a traditional chapel.

I recently had the joy of officiating a bilingual wedding ceremony at The Chapel at Mountain Springs in Piedmont, South Carolina a beautiful option for couples who are looking for that traditional chapel atmosphere without having to travel far from Greenville.

Located just about 20 miles from downtown Greenville, this charming chapel offers the classic feel of a traditional wedding ceremony in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

And this particular ceremony was extra special because it was bilingual English and Spanish. ❤️

As a bilingual wedding officiant, I love being able to bring families together when they speak different languages. A wedding ceremony is such an important part of the day, and everyone should be able to understand, participate, and feel included in those special moments.

A Little Piece of My Story!

Today, as I think about the passing of Dolly Parton, I wanted to share something with you that many of you may not know about me.

For more than 10 years, my family and I have owned a little honeymoon cabin in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area of Tennessee. Over the years, we've had the privilege of welcoming so many couples who came to the Smoky Mountains to celebrate their honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, and simply their love for one another.

That little cabin has given us the opportunity to be part of so many beautiful beginnings and special memories. And honestly, sharing our little piece of the Smokies with couples celebrating their love is one of the things that inspired me to become a wedding officiant.

So, while Dolly's passing may seem like an unusual topic for a wedding officiant's page, to me, it really isn't.

The Smoky Mountains have been a second home to me for many years. Dolly Parton is woven into the heart and soul of that community, and her love for her home, her people, and the mountains has always been something special.

She wasn't just an entertainer. She was a reminder that you can come from humble beginnings, stay true to who you are, and still make a difference in the lives of countless people.

So today, I'm sharing a little piece of my story with you and a little piece of the place that has been such an important part of my life and, in a way, part of the reason I became the wedding officiant I am today.

This beautiful ceremony had a very special guest. Zeke stayed by his humans' side throughout the entire event at South & West Event Venue in Easley. It was such a joy to celebrate the love between the wonderful couple and witness the bond they share with their four-legged friend.

Today I had the privilege of officiating a beautiful Christian wedding at Hollywild Animal Preserve. While their ceremony was centered on their Christian faith, the couple also chose to honor the groom's Indian heritage by wearing traditional Indian wedding attire.

It was a beautiful reminder that marriage is about celebrating not only two people, but also the families, traditions, and cultures that have shaped them. The couple was able to combine their faith and heritage in a way that created a ceremony that was unique to their story.
