The Mississippi Association of Community Action Agencies (MACAA) kicked off its 2025 State Conference with a powerful series of pre-conference sessions led by Dr. Mary Sims Johnson, MSW, LCSW.

As Executive Director of the Madison County Citizens Service Agency and an organizational change coach with the Mississippi Department of Health, Dr. Johnson brought both expertise and inspiration to the opening day.

Her sessions— “Child Abuse Reporting” and “Cultural Diversity: It’s OK to Be Different”—resonated deeply with a packed audience of dedicated case managers and case workers from across the state. She will close out the pre-conference with a final thought-provoking session titled “Ethics in Social Work Practice: From a Case Manager’s Perspective.”
