🚨 Elevated Fire Danger Today and Tomorrow 🚨
The National Weather Service advises that ongoing drought conditions, an unusually dry stretch of weather, and hot temperatures will support elevated fire danger conditions today and tomorrow.
Relative humidity values are expected to fall into the mid to upper 20% range inland and winds gusting 15 to 25mph, creating conditions where fires can start easily and spread rapidly.
⚠️ Please use extreme caution with: • Outdoor burning • Fire pits and campfires • Grills and smokers • Discarded smoking materials • Equipment that may create sparks
With dry vegetation and low humidity, even a small spark can quickly lead to a dangerous wildfire.
We encourage everyone to avoid unnecessary outdoor burning and remain vigilant throughout the weekend. If you see smoke or fire, report it immediately.
