Welcome to the OwensKennemore detachment! This site was organized for present and future members of individuals and their families who have served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and now live inthe upstate area of South Carolina. Our meetings are held each first Thursday of the month, at 7:15 pm at the Greenville Shrine Club in Greenville, South Carolina. We gather at 6:30 for meal and a chance to socialize before the meeting. Chartered in 2002, the Owens/Kennemore Detachment is named for two area Greenville, SC Marines, both awarded the Medal of Honor, who exemplified the ideals and principles of the United States Marine Corps in both word and deed.
