South Hunt County Fire Rescue Proudly Serving The City of Quinlan, Cash Community, and Surrounding Hunt County

South Hunt County Fire Rescue is a 100% volunteer fire department located in South Hunt County Texas. Founded in 1985 as Cash Fire Department, the department provide fire and first response to 10,500 citizens over a 80 square mile area including the City of Quinlan, unincorporated community of Cash and surrounding areas; the department also provides Technical Rescue Services to 25,000 people over

250 square miles and 6 fire departments. This department is a non-profit and runs mainly donations from it citizens it is proud to serve. The men and women of the South Hunt County Fire Rescue look forward to serving you and being there in your time of need.

Today is International Day of Charity, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by giving back to the community that gives so much to us!

Our second Semi-Annual Boot Drive is officially underway! 🎉 Today, our South Hunt County Fire Rescue volunteers are out in Quinlan collecting donations that help support our department and allow us to continue serving our community when you need us most.

We’re officially kicking off Day 1 of the South Hunt County Fire Rescue Boot Drive, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Our volunteers are out in the community today, braving the heat and waving those boots, all to help support South Hunt County Fire Rescue and the services we provide to our community. 🥾💰

Every donation—big or small—helps us continue answering calls, maintaining equipment, training our firefighters, and being there when our community needs us most.

Our firefighters will be out with the boots collecting donations to help support South Hunt County Fire Rescue and the equipment, training, and resources needed to serve our community.
