What a way to close out the 2026 Greenville Jazz Fest presented by Prisma Health! From the first notes on Friday to the final encore Saturday night, Main Street was alive with incredible music, unforgettable performances and a wonderful community that kept the rhythm going all weekend long ✨🎶

👏🏽 Remembering Peabo Bryson at The Greenville Jazz Fest presented by Prisma Health. Councilman Ken Gibson paid tribute to the late Grammy and Oscar winning entertainer who grew up and began his career in . Bryson died June 2 from complications of a stroke.

"In celebrating this year’s festival, we honor trailblazing Greenville musicians like Peabo Bryson, whose legacy continues to inspire, while championing the next generation of local artists who will shape the sound of Greenville for years to come," Gibson told the crowd.

Bryson was most recently in Greenville in September 2024 for the dedication of a mural at The Commons.

And that’s a wrap on Day 2 of the Greenville Jazz Fest presented by Prisma Health! 🎷✨🤩

We kicked things off with the Second Line Parade presented by adidas and never missed a beat. From start to finish, Main Street was alive with world-class talent, unforgettable performances and the unmistakable spirit of jazz.

Cosmic Collective, The Lao Tizer Band and Somi brought the festival to a spectacular finish, sending us out on a high note and reminding us why jazz continues to inspire, connect and move us all!

Day One of the Greenville Jazz Fest presented by Prisma Health hit all the right notes! 🎵

From the smooth sounds of Wine & Roses and Contraband to the high-energy performance by Orchestra Macuba on the Reedy Stage presented by Spinx Market, the festival is off to a swinging start.

Over on the Roots Stage presented by South Carolina Operation Lifesaver, the Greenville Jazz Collective Big Band, Joe Davidian Trio, and Marquis Hill kept the crowd grooving all evening long.

🎺 Tomorrow, we’ll begin day two of the festival in style with the iconic Second Line Parade presented by adidas! Join us at 11 AM at Main & Broad as we march down Main Street, following the band to the Reedy Stage. Arrive early to grab festive beads and hand fans!

The JazzEd Concert Series presented by T-Fiber wrapped up this week with its final concert featuring Iliana Rose at Nicholtown Community Center 🎺🎼 Over the past month, every Wednesday leading up to Greenville Jazz Fest, Greenville's neighborhood community centers came alive with the spirit, energy, and rich history of jazz through our partnership with the Greenville Jazz Collective

Talented local musicians from the Greenville Jazz Collective paid tribute to the legendary jazz artists with South Carolina roots, sharing their stories and musical influence through unforgettable performances. Thank you to the artists who shared their passion and talent, and to the community members who joined us in honoring the culture, history, and joy of jazz!

The future of jazz is performing live next weekend at the Greenville Jazz Fest presented by Prisma Health! 🌟🎷🎶 We're proud to spotlight the next generation of talent with a special performance by the All-County Jazz Ensemble, featuring some of Greenville County’s most accomplished young musicians at the 2026 festival.

Now in its fourth year, the All-County Jazz Ensemble provides students with the opportunity to perform in a large jazz ensemble under the direction of Fine Arts Center Jazz Studies Instructor Joe Davidian. An accomplished jazz pianist and educator, Davidian leads a 20-piece ensemble comprised of students from 11 Greenville County high schools and the Fine Arts Center.

The group is excited to bring a set of swinging charts to the stage, spanning jazz classics from Count Basie and Buddy Rich to contemporary charts by John Clayton and more 🥁

Experience the incredible impact of jazz education in our community as these rising stars take the Reedy Stage presented by Spinx Market on Saturday, June 13 at 1:30 PM 👏🤩

We’re just two weeks away from celebrating Juneteenth at Unity Park! 🤎

Join us for a meaningful day of community, culture, and reflection as we honor the history and significance of Juneteenth. This annual celebration brings people together through local voices, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate.

The day begins at 9:00 AM at Linky Stone Park: The Children's Garden, where we’ll gather for a community walk to the Prisma Health Unity Welcome Center 🚶🏽🚶🏾‍♀️ Once we arrive, the celebration continues until noon with a vibrant program featuring live musical performances by local artists, poetry readings, recognition of student essay contest winners, and a thought-provoking panel discussion. Guests will have the opportunity to fellowship with neighbors and enjoy the community atmosphere 🫂

Lunch will be available from four local food trucks, offering a variety of options, including savory meals and sweet treats!
