Gantt District Fire Department is a division of the Gantt Fire Sewer and Police District formed in 1954. We are located in the southern part of Greenville.

🇺🇸 CLIMBING SO THEY ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN 🇺🇸

Members of Gantt District Fire Department, along with family and friends, were honored to participate in the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Fluor Field in Greenville.

This event is about far more than climbing stairs. Each step is taken in remembrance of the firefighters and first responders who answered the call on September 11, 2001 — many climbing the stairs of the World Trade Center knowing that others were depending on them.

Our members climbed while carrying the names and memories of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Among those honored was FDNY Firefighter Brian Cannizzaro of Ladder 101.
The weight of the gear is temporary.
The responsibility to remember is not.

We are proud of our Gantt District firefighters and family members who participated and represented our department while honoring the courage, service, and sacrifice of those who came before us.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, the Gantt District Fire Department pauses to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call to serve.

We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, military personnel, civilians, and families whose lives were forever changed that day.

More than two decades later, their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness continue to inspire those who serve.

Today, we honor their memory.
We honor their families.
And we remember the unity our nation showed in the days that followed.
Never Forget. Always Remember.

🎀 $5 from every shirt sold will be donated in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
