On 10/14/2025 Deputy Kaleb Rolley conducted a traffic stop on a
vehicle traveling on North 8th St. in Central City. During this
investigation the operator of the vehicle was suspected of being under
the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. A search of the
vehicle led to the discovery of a stolen handgun along with a large
amount of suspected methamphetamine, prescription pills, cash currency
and drug paraphernalia. The driver of the vehicle identified as 36
year old Heather Collier, from Central City, was placed under arrest
and charged with careless driving, rear license not Illuminated,
failure to or improper signal, failure to wear seat belts, operating
on a suspended or revoked operator's license, operating motor vehicle
under the influence alcohol or controlled substance 2nd offense,
trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) (firearm
enhanced), drug paraphernalia buy/ possess, possession controlled
substance (opiates), possession of handgun by convicted felon, and
receiving stolen property (firearm). A passenger in the vehicle,
43-year-old Michael Robinson, was also arrested and charged with
trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) (firearm
enhanced), drug paraphernalia buy/possess, possession of controlled
substance 1st degree (opiates), possession of a handgun by convicted
felon, and receiving stolen property (firearm). Deputy Rolley was
assisted at the scene by The Central City Police Department.
