Greenville Technical College just opened its new Center for Welding & Automation Excellence, a 44,000-sq-ft facility and the largest, most advanced welding training center in the Southeast.

With welders in short supply nationwide, this $15M+ investment boosts local training capacity by 305%, featuring the country's only AI-powered welding lab and state-of-the-art robotics training.

A big win for Greenville County's talent pipeline and manufacturing future. Congrats, Greenville Technical College!

Back in June, the GADC Annual Meeting attendees wrote personal pledges to forge a legacy for Greenville County and "planted" them beneath a live oak, generously donated by Heritage Landcare.

That same tree has found its permanent home at Conestee Nature Preserve. It is a living symbol of 25 years of economic growth and the community commitment that will carry Greenville County into its next chapter.

Just as this oak will grow stronger with time, so will the roots our community has planted together. Next time you're at Conestee, stop by and see it for yourself!
