âTwas the Night Before School
Bowie Bulldogs
âTwas the night before school, and all through Bowieâs halls,
Not a student was stirring, no footsteps at all.
The backpacks were ready, the pencils were new,
And teachers prepared for the great things weâll do.
The classrooms were waiting, all cheerful and bright,
With lessons and laughter all planned just right.
The Bulldogs were tucked in and snug in their beds,
While first-day adventures danced in their heads.
âWill I see my friends? Will my teacher be kind?â
âWhat exciting new things will I learn and find?â
There may be some butterflies fluttering, too,
But tomorrow brings something amazing and new!
Our teachers are ready, our staff cannot wait,
To welcome each Bulldog right through the front gate.
With smiles and high-fives, weâll start off the year,
Building ownership with excellence, purpose, and cheer.
From Kindergarten through Fourth, thereâs so much in store,
New friendships, new challenges, learningâand more!
Weâll read and discover, create and explore,
And prove every day what a Bulldog is for.
So rest up, sweet Bulldogs, and dream through the night,
For morning will bring a new year shining bright.
With courage and kindness, together weâll say:
âBowie Bulldogs are READYâ
Tomorrowâs the DAY!â â¤ď¸đžđ¤
