GREENVILLE POLICE ANNOUNCES CAPTURE OF WANTED SUSPECT

GREENVILLE, Miss. — The Greenville Police Department is pleased to announce the capture of Kelvin Buck, who was wanted in connection with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling and three counts of Aggravated Assault.

The arrest was made through the diligent efforts of the Sharkey County Sheriff's Department, Greenville Police Department Investigators, and the continued support of the community. We appreciate everyone who shared information and assisted in bringing this case to a successful resolution.

The Greenville Police Department remains committed to protecting our community and holding offenders accountable. Buck is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

Greenville Police Department Seeks Public’s Assistance in Locating Wanted Subject

The Greenville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Romeo Lynch, who is currently wanted on a charge of Felony Fleeing.

Lynch is described as a Black male with brown eyes and a date of birth of July 6, 1994. Due to the nature of the charge, law enforcement advises the public not to approach him if he is seen.

The Greenville Police Department is actively working to locate Lynch and encourages anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward. Community assistance plays a vital role in helping law enforcement apprehend individuals who are wanted and ensure the safety of our neighborhoods.

Greenville Police Department Seeks Public’s Assistance in Locating Wanted Subject

The Greenville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Kerri D. Davenport, who is currently wanted on a charge of Aggravated Assault.

Davenport is described as a Black male, born on December 17, 1990, standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.

Anyone who sees him or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement immediately.

Greenville, Mississippi — The Greenville Police Department has arrested Jykeivin Harris in connection with an ongoing armed robbery investigation.

Harris has been charged with:
• Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery
• Armed Robbery

Following his arrest, Harris was transported to the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, where he remains in custody pending his initial court appearance.

The arrest is the result of continued investigative efforts by Greenville Police Department officers and investigators who remain committed to identifying and apprehending individuals responsible for violent crimes in our community.

Greenville, Mississippi — On June 8, 2026, officers with the Greenville Police Department arrested Johnny Watkins following an ongoing criminal investigation.

Watkins has been charged with the following offenses:
• Two (2) Counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
• Possession of Stolen Property
• Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery
• Accessory After the Fact (Armed Robbery)

Following his arrest, Watkins was transported to the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, where he is currently being held pending his initial court appearance.
