1/29/26 at 4:45pm- Main Street, Hopkinsville Street, and 189 Bypass are passable or clear. Most of the side roads are still covered with ice and snow. While you should drive with caution everyday, we encourage you to use a little extra caution driving right now. Roads that appear to be clear or slushy will most likely begin to refreeze as temps drop tonight.

Crews are working hard to clear the roads, but the ice is really thick and difficult to move, especially in areas that are shaded. We appreciate all of the crews working to clear the roads. They have a tough job, but they will get it done.

By the way, we are working on a winter weather cookbook. Does anyone have a good recipe that only uses bread and milk?
