The City of Greenville ("City") is soliciting proposals from experienced contractors to provide debris removal services to Whiskey Creek in response to the spring 2025 flood. This project is part of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service’s (NRCS) Environmental Watershed Protection (EWP) Program. The work for this project involves channel clearing. The planned work will clear channel and floodplain of woody and man made debris to lessen flooding hazards in rural areas. Work will consist of cutting and removing woody and man made debris, seeding disturbed areas. All work must be completed by December 5, 2025. All proposers are encouraged to attend an optional Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit scheduled for October 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM CDT at the City of Greenville, 118 Court Street, Greenville, KY 42345. No synopsis or summary of the meeting will be provided. Proposals and all required documents must be submitted online to the DFS Procurement Portal (hereinafter “DFS Portal” or “Portal”) at dfs.bonfirehub.com no later than November 10, 2025 at 9:00 AM, local time (CDT). Award will occur at the City Hall, 118 Court Street, Greenville, KY 42345, at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Addenda regarding this RFP will be posted to the DFS Portal at dfs.bonfirehub.com. Proposers are responsible for obtaining addenda and are advised to check the website frequently. On WEDNESDAY, October 2, 2024 from 9:30am to 11:30am, there will be an interruption in service due to line maintenance. A boil water advisory will be issued once service is restored and will remain in effect until further notice. Please share.
